click on small images to view Millenium 'Havering Book of Hours' 2000 Gouache on Card This particular page covers week of 6th August 1999 Writer Fred Carey - Calligrapher Meg Nellist - Artist Pauline Fynn Havering Arts Officer Chris Coles promoted the idea of a modern day 'Book of Hours' to commemorate the Millenium Year and give future generations an idea of ordinary 20th century lifestyles. A Havering newspage was written each week in 1999 by Havering Writers, transcribed by Havering Calligraphers and illustrated by Havering Artists. The Book of Hours is to be viewed either at the Havering Museum Romford or the Romford Central Library. |
Charity 'Silent' Art Auction 2009 for The Queens Theatre Hornchurch Essex. Local Artists donated artwork for auction. 'My donated artwork 'A Beeline' went to a bidder in Isle of Wight. The 'image' was used again later for another charity fundraiser JDRF see below. click on small images to view Charity JDRF Fundraiser 2011 JDRF (Junior Diabetes Research Foundation) 'A Beeline' image was printed on canvas bags and t-shirts for the fundraiser 'Sale for a Sail' organised by Juliet Fynn a JDRF Youth Ambassador Juliet developed Type 1 Diabetes -which is auto-immune and not caused by diet - when she was 10 years old. Havering Open Art 60+ Exhibition 2007 'Overall Winner Award' 2007
'Angel of Light' with prints and verse 'An angel to light and guide your way, each and every single day'. I designed this for exhibition at the new age 'Angels Holistic Healing and Gifts' Proceeds from the original painting and prints with inspirational verse were donated to the Rainbow Trust Childrens Charity.
